The BEPCO 131081 Safety Valve, sold by Wofford Truck Parts, is an ST-4 style 250-PSI air brake pressure-relief valve designed to protect heavy-duty air systems from over-pressurization. When pressure rises above its set point, the valve opens to vent excess air, then reseats automatically once pressure returns to a safe range. Specifications
The BEPCO 131081 Safety Valve is a critical air system protection component for trucks and trailers running dual-circuit air brakes. In normal operation it remains sealed, but if system pressure exceeds its 250-PSI set point, the ST-4 style valve opens to vent air and prevent damage to compressors, reservoirs, hoses, and brake control valves. Once pressure returns to a safe range it re-seats automatically to maintain proper air supply.
