The Automann 460.538 King Pin Kit LH-RH features hardened double-draw pins and precision needle (bronze) bushings for low-friction oscillation. The kit includes washers, O-rings, thrust bearings, draw keys, nuts, and end caps (use with 460.523B & 460.539B) for full steering knuckle rebuild.

Specifications

The Automann 460.538 King Pin Kit LH-RH with needle bushings offers a complete rebuild solution for heavy-duty steering knuckles. The kit contains double-draw hardened king pins for both left and right sides, precision bronze needle bushings (low friction, high durability), thrust bearings, washers, O-rings, draw keys, nuts, and end caps. Its design allows for regeneration of steering geometry with minimal reaming, as the needle bushings help grip tolerances and reduce slop. The bushing outer diameter is 1.873″ and the kit pin length is 10.060″ nominal. The kit is meant to meet or exceed OEM standards, restoring proper steering pin-to-bushing contact, reducing wear, and improving longevity in knuckle assemblies.
