Loctite RTV Grey High-Performance Part No: 2638164

The 2638164 RTV Grey High-Performance sealant (Loctite SI 5699) is engineered to deliver reliable flange sealing in harsh environments. Once applied, it cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air, forming a resilient, flexible grey rubber gasket that accommodates surface irregularities and resists cracking or shrinkage. Its excellent resistance to oil and water-glycol makes it ideal for sealing transmission housings, cast metal components, and rigid flanges where traditional cut gaskets may fail. It becomes tack-free in about 10 minutes, allowing quick assembly, and offers long-term flexibility under vibration and temperature fluctuations (from –59 °C to +329 °C).
