Loctite 263 Threadlocker Red (Surface-Insensitive) Part No: 2203451

The 2203451 LOCTITE 263 Red Threadlocker is a premium, high-strength anaerobic adhesive designed for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. Its surface-insensitive formula allows reliable curing even on “as-received” metal parts with light oil contamination, eliminating the need for aggressive cleaning. Once fully cured, it resists vibration and thermal cycling, making it suited for engine housing studs, transmission bolts, pumps, and structural assemblies. Break-away torque for M10 steel fasteners is around 33 N·m.  Disassembly requires localized heating, which makes it perfect for permanent or semi-permanent locks where long-term reliability is essential. Its wide service temperature range (–55 °C to +180 °C) ensures performance in demanding truck environments.
